SDA Pasiansi Hospital is a faith-based healthcare institution founded by the Seventh-day Adventist Church with the mission of providing high-quality medical services to all people, regardless of religious affiliation. It is fully compliant with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare guidelines, ensuring that its operations meet national healthcare standards while preserving its faith-driven ethos. Situated in the Pasiansi area of Mwanza Region, the hospital extends its services to the broader communities of Mwanza and Simiyu regions, covering key areas around Lake Victoria where access to quality healthcare is vital.
The hospital’s history dates back to 1972, when German missionaries established a small clinic in Mwanza town to meet the community’s growing health needs. Initially located in Kirumba, the facility was later relocated to Ghana Street to improve service delivery and accommodate increasing patient numbers. Eventually, its headquarters and main operations were moved to Pasiansi, where it has since transformed into a modern, fully equipped hospital.
